Hello, I am Sandra Clerico, My approach to bodywork has been shaped by two worlds: French hands-on therapy expertise and Australian training in Myofascial Release.

My journey into this work became deeply personal during the COVID period, when I was experiencing significant pain myself. That experience changed the way I looked at the body, pain, and healing.

I began to realise how many people live with pain every single day often adapting their entire life around it. They stop moving the way they used to. They avoid certain activities. They become afraid of triggering the pain again. Sometimes, they simply learn to live with it. For me, that was difficult to accept.

I couldn’t understand a model where pain was only something to silence. I wanted to understand what the body was trying to communicate and what might be contributing to the problem underneath the symptoms. That curiosity led me deeper into Kinesio, anatomy, posture, movement, the nervous system and, ultimately, fascia.

Fascia is the connective tissue network that surrounds, supports and connects structures throughout the entire body. It responds to movement, load, stress, injury and the way we use our body over time. When the body repeatedly adapts around tension, restriction or compensation, those patterns can influence how freely and comfortably we move.

This is why I don’t simply look at the place where someone feels pain. I look at the person as a whole.

How do they stand?

How do they move?

How do they breathe?

Where is the body compensating?

What has their body had to adapt to over the years?

Sometimes the place that hurts is only one piece of a much bigger story. Myofascial Release allows me to work with the body in a slower, more attentive way, listening to areas of restriction, restoring movement and creating space for the body to reorganise.

Over the years, my work has been influenced by my French background in bodywork and manual therapy, combined with the knowledge and experience I have developed in Australia through Myofascial Release, massage therapy, kinesiology, cranial work, movement and my ongoing studies in osteopathy.

This combination has created the philosophy behind the way I treat today: the body is not a collection of separate parts. It is an interconnected system.

My mission is simple.

I want to help people feel at home in their body again.

To help someone walk with greater ease.

To move without constantly anticipating pain.

To return to activities they had stopped doing.

To play with their children or grandchildren and domestic pets.

To exercise, travel, work, breathe and live with more freedom.

Because being able to use your body comfortably in everyday life is something we often take for granted until we lose it.

For me, bodywork is not only about reducing tension. It is about helping people rediscover movement, confidence and connection with their own body.

That is what motivates me every day.

That is why I continue to learn.

And that is why I chose this path.

Change the way your fascia moves, and you may change the way your whole body moves through life.
