Strength That Respects the Shoulder
Swimmers need a trunk that resists rotation when necessary and a scapula that tracks smoothly under high repetition. We develop core endurance and scapular control using MedX and targeted accessory work, improving catch stability and bodyline while reducing provocation of “swimmer’s shoulder.”
- Trunk endurance: hold streamline, reduce snaking.
- Scapular control: stable overhead action for every stroke.
- Hip mobility: easier rotation and kick timing.
Mobility & Recovery That Fit Your Week
We time Myofascial Release Therapy around key pool sessions to relieve lats/pecs/upper-back tightness without compromising performance. You’ll also learn a short pre-pool activation and a post-pool down-regulation so your shoulders stay happy across volume blocks.
Make Speed Sustainable
Better mechanics only matter if you can hold them under fatigue. Our progressions build the ability to maintain a clean catch and stable torso in the final reps of the main set-where races are decided.
Program Outline
- Assessment: shoulder history, ROM, and stroke demands.
- Strength: MedX trunk blocks + scapular endurance.
- Mobility: myofascial release + thoracic/shoulder openers.
- Load planning: align with coach and periodisation.
Swim Stronger, Longer
Expect less post-set tightness, smoother rotation, and more energy between sessions.
